The team at Vision Mental Healthcare supports individuals with complex mental health needs including psychotic disorders and treatment-R psychosis and those with a dual diagnosis.
They also provide care and treatment for individuals with personality disorder, accepting individuals who are both detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 (2007) or on an informal basis.

The team facilitate both in-reach and out-reach work to ensure people have the optimum opportunity to successfully transition to step down accommodation or to return to their own provisions in the community.
Clinical teams are orientated towards the different patient populations and their levels of functionality and are made up of Psychiatry, Psychology, Art Therapy, OT and nursing teams.

Facilities at the hospital include a gymnasium/games room, two large therapy studios and a large therapy kitchen, all situated within the three acres of grounds.
The hospital is approximately one mile from the local high street, shopping, leisure activities and rail link.

Patients are supported to have significant input into the running of the service, including factors such as recruitment, clinical governance, policy review and environmental design.
How do I access Cornerstone House?
Individuals can access the hospital at any stage of their recovery pathway. The team accept referrals from the community, from acute and PICU placements, from low-secure hospitals and from forensic units.
